Polish rider Ania Jackowska sets out to explore Argentina!

Ania Jackowska left yesterday for her new Ridexperience on BMW equipped with Metzeler Tourance EXPs. Now the question is: who is this young lady who is going to take such a huge trip on her bike? We don’t know too much about her. We wanted to know Ania since Metzeler decided to sponsor her for this new adventure.

She lives in Poland, in Varsavia and was born in 1979. Like all motorcycle adventurers, she has fire inside which often makes her riding in the most far-off places in the world.

This time we caught her before she leaves to Argentina (she will be away for 40 days), and convinced her to sit down and answer some questions:

Hello Ania, few days to the start. When will your trip begin?

Hello Ridexperience, we are almost ready. My trip starts Feb 8 and will last around 40 days. I’ve planned to come back at the end of march.

Have you planned the route and each day of the trip?

I don’t make generally a detailed plan for each day. I start having an idea of the places I would like to know, a kind of mental map to follow relaing to my relishes. For this trip I think to stop in Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn (to see delfins, balens e pinguins),then go until the Tierra del Fuego, going up to Calafate (to see Perito Moreno), pass by Esquel (to visit Futalaufquen lake), San Carlos de Bariloche, San Martin Los Andes, Mendoza, San Juan, Salta and many others. My trip is also dedicated to meet new people and their stories.

A motorcycle trip in some of the most beautiful places in the world can be considered, such as the Tango, a form of art, as well as a great passion: What made you choose Argentina as the destination?

Argentina is my first destination in South America. I’ve never been there before. Thinking about new destinations I want to meet different cultures each time. I hope, I will be able to discover the beauty of the country, being accompanied by rhythms of Tango.

Motorcyclists, like the Gauchos with horses, love living on their bike. What characteristics might be shared by these two types of “Riders”?

Definitely a great desire to explore the world and a boundless love for freedom and for the nature. I think it’s also required great sensitivity and a strong character!

How and when did you choose Metzeler for your travel?

When I travel a lot and for long journeys, I need to trust the quality of all components of the bike. It’s necessary to be well prepared. Personally I prepare my body for the efforts and labors that I’ll going to meet, but the real success also depends by my equipment. So I think that if I will choose the Metzeler Tourance EXP I will receive the best durability and traction

Finally, what do you expect from this adventure? Except, of course, to learn to Tango

I try not to expect too much. As I said before, I have a general plan that I’m improving, with many spontaneous changes. So I’m simply waiting to see what will happen during the travel. I’m ready for adventure and I hope to return home fine. I keep my fingers crossed!

Ridexperience and the Metzeler team wish Ania the best of luck on her adventure!
